We had a little bit of a scare during week 25 but things seem to be okay now and miss Aspen seems to be moving and growing. A few folks have asked where we are registered and I finally got one going at Target.
It is just listed under my name and I did it online so I guess you can find it online or in the store. It is a little overwhelming trying to think of all the things that you need for a new baby and especially a new winter baby! We are very excited though and counting down the days to her arrival. We are at 96 days now and I know she will be here before we know it!
I still have a few things to do to finish up the nursery and I figure I should save a few things for when the weather cools off and I need a project or two. We also are taking our prepared childbirth class next month!! I'm sure Jason is extra excited to spend his whole day at the hospital but I'm sure we will have a good time. As long as they don't show any videos and as long as he doesn't see blood. No blood or needles or we might have problems. He can hunt and fish but the poor guy just doesn't handle human blood very well.
The furry kids are getting used to all the new "things" in the house. Honey likes to go into Aspen's room and sleep on her rug. I kept finding the rug all squished up like someone had tripped over it and I finally figured out that she has been maneuvering it to make a little pillow. Andy is pretty oblivious to everything right now. He hangs out in the nursery with me but he doesn't really know his life is about to change. We did get some baby sounds music and have been trying to get them used to baby sounds. So far they don't let a baby cry interfere with their naps at all. Honey has also been more attached to me lately. She insists on getting of the couch and putting her paws on my lap and her head on my belly. Well really she just wants to snuggle in any way that you will let her but she does seem to like my belly. They both also like to sleep on the floor on my side of the bed. Of course one of them will move by about 2 am and will be at the end of the bed where I have to leap across them for the nightly bathroom trips. Fun stuff. I'm not sure why they made the master bedrooms so small in these houses. By the end of this pregnancy, I think it will be physically impossible for me to get into our dresser drawers thanks to the narrow space between it and the bed. Guess that means hubby has to put the laundry away! Yay for me!!
